Carlisle City Council
Suzanne, in her time as Manager of the Cumbria Energy Efficiency Advice Centre, made huge strides in helping to reduce CO2 emissions, and improve the energy efficiency of the housing stock in Cumbria, and indeed further afield. She was instrumental in pulling in literally millions of pounds of external funding into Cumbria, for energy efficiency measures. Her innovative approach to tackling energy efficiency and fuel poverty enable hundreds of families to better enjoy their homes, which were warmer; were less affected by condensation, and were less costly to heat.
She dealt with, and embraced the new technology that was coming to the market, and used systems such as ground and air source heat pumps, solar panels, renewable energy products and the stock measures such as cavity wall and loft insulation.
I wish her well in her new venture.

Suzanne has an uncanny knack of putting together the right people at the right time to achieve synergies that many people just don't see.
Far from operating in silos, Suzanne has an inclusive approach to any role she tackles. Facilitating partnerships is her speciality and the strength of her approach has resulted in good practice developed in Cumbria being rolled out in other parts of the country.
We will work with Suzanne Burgess Associsates with the same enthusiasm we embraced Suzanne herself when she ran the hugely successful Cumbria EEAC.
We wish her well with her new business.

Book My Survey Ltd
Suzanne has an aptitude for seeing solutions that many others miss. She saw how our newly formed company provided the type of customer service using electronic applications that her staff had been spending many, many hours on to achieve the same end result. Far from seeing us a threat to the jobs of her staff and keeping us at arms length, Suzanne fully embraced the new options and re-prioritised her staff duties to enhance CEEAC business development opportunities.
Once we'd proved our worth, Suzanne then opened the door to other organisations who she knew had been desperate for the type of service we provide but who didn't know how or where to access it. Far form keeping the good news to herself, Suzanne was keen to spread the news to others sharing her good practice to other parts of the country.
